How to manage a seafood allergy?
The best way to avoid is to understand food preparation and stay away from seafood. As a seafood allergic person, I can tell you I notify all restaurants of my allergy and many restaurants will prepare the food in a separate location. Also, I never eat in buffet restaurants as cross contamination from utensils from other patrons can not be avoided. Also, make sure you have discussed the allergy with a healthcare provider who can write a prescription for your daughter to carry epinephrine at all times. If your daughter is young, the parents should also carry, as well as the school. I hope this was helpful. READ MORE
