Dr. Judith Lin is a vascular surgeon practicing in East Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Lin specializes in disorders relating to the arterial, venous and lymphatic systems. She is an M.D. graduate of New York University School of Medicine in 1997 and completed the Executive MBA program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 2017. After her surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2002, she obtained her vascular surgery fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center in 2004. She was awarded the 2004 Marco Polo Traveling Scholarship from the SVS for additional training in Germany in advanced Minimally Invasive Vascular Surgery. She also received the 2011 Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society traveling award for professional development on robotic aortic surgery in the Czech Republic.
Board-certified by the ABS in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery, Dr. Lin has been elected to the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and distinguished fellowship of the SVS. She has been selected as one of the Top Docs in General Vascular Surgery by Detroit HOUR Magazine 13 times, one of America’s Top Surgeons by Consumers’ Research Council of America, and a Castle Connelly America’s Top Doctors in Vascular Surgery 7 times. Dr. Lin is a brilliant vascular surgeon specializing in minimally invasive vascular surgery, endovascular and robotic assisted vascular surgery, percutaneous peripheral intervention, and complex venous disease. She is the Medical Director of MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center, providing corrective skincare for all skin types and colors.
Among her other roles within MSU, Dr. Lin is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, and serves as the Chief of Vascular Surgery at MSU Health Care Heart and Vascular Center.
With a broad educational background, Dr. Lin graduated with her Medical Degree from the New York University Grossman School of Medicine in 1997. She then went on to complete her residency in general surgery at Mount Sinai Health System in New York, followed by her fellowship in vascular surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Subsequently, Dr. Lin received the Marco Polo Traveling Scholarship from the Society for Vascular Surgery to complete a traveling fellowship in advanced minimally invasive vascular surgery at Augusta Hospital in Dusseldorf, Germany. In 2017, she earned her MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Board certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery, Dr. Lin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
Professionally, Dr. Lin is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery (DFSVS), a Consultant and Board Examiner for the American Board of Surgery, Vascular Surgery Qualifying and Certifying Examination, as well as the Chair of Society for Vascular Surgery Health Information Technology Task Force.
