Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Elmer Cupino, who serves patients in Pennsylvania.

A seasoned psychiatrist, Dr. Cupino sees patients at his private practice in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He has also been serving as an Assistant Professor at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine since 2010.

Born and raised in the Phillipanes, he traveled to Mexico where he earned his medical degree from the University of Montemorelos in 1984. His extensive training includes completing his residency in psychiatry at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1990, followed by a fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts in 1992.

An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.

On a professional level, Dr. Cupino is a proud member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, demonstrating his commitment to keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
