Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Kenneth Dizon, who serves patients throughout the State of Arizona.

Well-versed in the field of cardiology, Dr. Dizon is affiliated with Phoenix Heart, seeing patients at their offices in Glendale and Goodyear, Arizona.

Phoenix Heart is the leading cardiology group in the greater Phoenix area. It has five offices, conveniently located in Glendale, Goodyear, Anthem, and Black Canyon City. Since its inception in 1981, the practice has set the gold standard for cardiological care in Arizona and beyond.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Dizon earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. He then went on to complete his internship, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Garden City Hospital.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.

On a professional level, he is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, the Heart Failure Society of America, and the American Society of Echocardiography.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
