Furthering her education, she earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2013. She then completed her internal medicine internship with St. Johns Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, followed by her anesthesiology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. 

To stay up to date in her field, she is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). At the ASA, they take pride in their dedication to raise and maintain the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology to improve patient care.
