Upon graduation, he went on to perform his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in pulmonary disease at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1987 and 1990, respectively. 

Fully-trained for bronchial thermoplasty with Boston Scientific, he is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.

With years of education and experience, Dr. Killeen is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
