A board-certified family practitioner, Dr. Montgomery sees patients at SSM Health Medical Group in Wentzville, Missouri, which he joined in 2008. In practice in the Wentzville/Lake Saint Louis area since 1995, he is proficient in all facets of family medicine with an emphasis on weight loss and early cancer detection/prevention.

When asked what motivates him, Dr Montgomery says, “My goal for my patients is to help them improve the quality of their lives and get to 80+ years old with no heart attacks, strokes, cancer or dementia. I have found the best way to do this is to to improve daily health habits and a plant based diet. This is very difficult to do, but much easier if I can make a personal connection and show them I really care.”

Dedicated to serving his community, Dr. Montgomery is past President of the Board and a practicing physician with Crossroads Clinic – a free clinic associated with Volunteers in Medicine in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Montgomery obtained his medical degree in 1992 at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. He completed his residency at Cox Health Systems in Springfield, Missouri (1992-1995). 

Subsequent to his training, Dr. Montgomery received board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family medicine (ABFM). The American Board of Family Medicine is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Licensed to practice in the state of Missouri, Dr. Montgomery maintains hospital privileges at St. Joseph Hospital – St. Charles, and St. Joseph Hospital – Lake Saint Louis.
