Pamela Stratton is an acupuncturist practicing in Gloucester, MA. Dr. Stratton evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of oriental medicine. Acupuncturists complete their evaluations by getting a patient history and looking at and touching the body. Then, they place very fine acupuncture needles into specific points on the body. I have been going to Pam off and on since I was in high school. I decided about 6 months ago to make the commitment to my health and go back. I am being treated for many different health conditions including acid reflux, asthma, allergies, and migraines. When I started with Pam 6 months ago I was having migraines and/or headaches 3 to 4 times a week. I was on preventative daily medication for this as well. After a couple months of treatment I was completely off my daily migraine medications and have only experienced two migraines since. I have also been able to start to wean down on my daily steroid inhaler for my asthma. For people seeking alternatives to having medication thrown at you to fix a problem I highly recommend going to Pam. She knows what she is doing and it works. She actively listen to your concerns and/or problems and works to give you relief.
