Being a highly-trained and skilled reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, Dr. Winslow is the Founder & Director of the Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine. Under his directorship, the Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine has had over 10,000 babies born. By focusing on the “3 C’s” (care, cost, and convenience) the Institute has become the largest provider of infertility care in North Florida / South Georgia. It was named one of the top ten reproductive medicine programs in the nation by Child Magazine in 2005. It has also been featured in People, Child, Conceive, Pink, Self, and Woman magazines, as well as on NBC, ABC, BBC News, and The Today Show.

As for his academic appointment, Dr. Winslow is a Clinical Professor of Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Florida, Jacksonville.

With special interests in in-vitro fertilization and fertility preservation, he holds membership status with the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology. He has also served as the President of the Florida Society of Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility.

Back in 1984, Dr. Winslow earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando. He then went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida Jacksonville, followed by his fellowship in reproductive medicine/infertility at the renowned Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, known as the birthplace of modern reproductive medicine.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the doctor is board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. While most REI specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinologists are trained to also evaluate and treat hormonal dysfunctions in females and males outside after the reproductive years.

Recognized as an expert in his respective field, Dr. Winslow has been inducted into Strathmore’s Who’s Who in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Physicians. He is also the recipient of Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2010, 2011, 2012, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2015, 2018), and Patients’ Choice Award (2008, 2009, 2010, 2018).
