The proud recipient of the Top Dentist in NJ award for four years in a row, Dr. DeCasperis, has been providing state of the art dental care in the Hunterdon region for 30+ years. Since 1988, Dr. DeCasperis and his team at Dazzling Smiles have been dedicated to providing patients of all ages with comprehensive and modern dental services. Dr. DeCasperis, an expert in the field of cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, Invisalign® and Invisalign Teen® clear aligners, Lumineers® porcelain veneers, and dental implants, offer the best dental care services to provide patients with a healthy and beautiful smile.
Dr. DeCasperis’ extensive experience and education began when he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University, the largest private university in New Jersey. Fairleigh Dickinson is a not-for-profit, nonsectarian, multicampus institution founded in 1942.
He was named the Chief Dental Resident at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center where he completed his residency training. Additionally, he achieved Fellowship Status in the International Dental Implant Association, in 2015.
Dr. DeCarperis was born and raised in Central New Jersey. His practice was the first in New Jersey to introduce modern dental lasers for everyday treatment and his state of the art office is one of the few facilities that includes a dental implant center on the premises. The Hunterdon County Dental Implant Center allows him and his partner, Dr. Allison Kendrick, the ability to perform all aspects of dental implant treatment in-house including radiological scans, surgical bone modification, grafting, surgical placement and restoration of dental implants.
Dr. DeCasperis also provides a full range of modern dental services, from preventative dentistry and routine oral care. He is a certified provider of Invisalign, a process used when patients, often adults, want to straighten their teeth without the metal wires and rubber bands of traditional braces. Invisalign is used for a variety of dental problems, from mild cases of crooked teeth to more serious problems involving malocclusion, overbite and underbite.
He recently added a Facial Rejuvenation Center to his practice, where he offers Botox®, Juvederm® and other facial procedures to help reverse the signs of aging. By combining cosmetic dental care, with these other non surgical cosmetic services, he can offer a new smile, restoration, and maintenance treatments for optimal dental health and a dazzling smile.
Recipient of multiple awards and accolades, Dr. DeCasperis was honored as a Top Invisalign Dentist, and has received numerous Top Doctor and Top Dentist Awards. He is a member of some of the most prestigious organizations in dentistry including the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International Academy of Laser Dentistry, International Dental Implant Association, as well as a founding member of the Metropolitan Academy of Laser Dentistry.
He is dedicated to his local community as well as helping the underserved. He performs dental work in the Dominican Republic as part of Dr. Arun Garg’s Implant Seminars. He volunteers each year and provides much needed dental care for many underprivileged residents of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. His hobbies and interests include skiing, photography, and scuba diving.
