Dr. Manimtim is a board-certified neonatologist who serves as Director of Neonatal Outpatient Services and Medical Director of the Infant Tracheostomy and Home Ventilator Program at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Children’s Mercy Hospital is a 367-bed comprehensive pediatric medical center that integrates clinical care, research, and medical education to provide care for patients ages birth to 21. The Infant Tracheostomy and Home Ventilator Program at Children’s Mercy Hospital provides infants and children who require long-term ventilation, individualized care in the home setting.
Dr. Manimtim is also Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Liberty Hospital, as well as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine.
Dr. Manimtim earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 1985. He then went on to complete his residency in pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in 1997, followed by his fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Manimtim is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to English, Dr. Manimtim speaks Filipino and Spanish.
Dr. Manimtim is board-certified in both pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence.
