Having been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since 1990, he is a part of the team of professionals at Tampa Bay Radiation Oncology. He sees patients at the offices in Tampa, Brandon, Sun City Center,  and Wesley Chapel, Florida.

Tampa Bay Radiation Oncology is a locally owned and physician managed organization providing years of combined expertise and state-of-the-art cancer care. Using a true team approach, the physicians, nurses, and medical staff treat patients as a consistent group from site-to-site. They are the most experienced and successful group locally administering MammoSite, prostate and high dose rate brachytherapy treatments.

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Kahn obtained his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1984. He completed residency programs in internal medicine at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1985 and at NYU’s Bellevue Hospital in 1987. He then completed his residency in radiation oncology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in 1990, where he served as Chief Resident.

Following his training, he attained board certification in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology, and in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Both not-for-profit organizations oversee the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in their respected fields. 

In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology (FACRO), Dr. Kahn is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology, the American College of Radiology, the Florida Radiological Society, the Florida Medical Association, and the Hillsborough County Medical Association.

The doctor’s affiliations include Brandon Hospital, South Bay Hospital, Town & Country Hospital, South Florida Baptist Hospital, Tampa General Hospital, and Memorial Hospital. He is also associated with the Brandon CyberKnife Center and the CyberKnife Center of Tampa.
