Being born into a family of doctors, he developed his love for medicine at the age of seven. His grandfather, being an established physician for over 50 years, was an inspiration for him to follow in his footsteps and choose his career in the medical field. He graduated with his medical degree from the Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia in 1995 and practiced medicine until his family moved to the United States in 1999, where he successfully passed the USA USMLE exams with excellent scores. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center.
As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
