Get to know Anesthesiologist, Michael D. Huber, DO, who serves patients in Englewood and surrounding communities in New Jersey.

Board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Huber is an attending physician at Englewood Health in Englewood, New Jersey. As an anesthesiologist, he specializes in the total perioperative care of patients before, during, and after surgery, including anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine.

“While my number one priority is patient safety, I realize that most patients have a level of anxiety prior to surgery that can be helped by addressing the patients’ concerns and answering all their questions. My goal is to provide a safe comfortable patient experience”, says Dr. Huber.  

Dr. Huber attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and was awarded his Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree in 1999. Following a one-year internship, he completed his residency training in anesthesiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York (2000 – 2003). He is licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey. 

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in anesthesiology through the American Board of Anesthesiology. The American Board of Anesthesiology sets standards and exams for the accreditation of Board certified anesthesiologists coming to the end of their residency. It is one of the 24 medical specialty boards that constitutes the American Board of Medical Specialties.
