Dr Mehrotra received his medical degree in 1992 from the Moti Lal Nehru Medical College in Allahabad, India. After completing multiple residency programs in Allahabad and New Delhi, he relocated to Jersey City (New Jersey) to complete a medical internship. He then went on to complete a residency in neurology at the Seton Hall University in Edison, New Jersey; followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. Upon completion of his fellowship training, Dr. Mehrotra relocated to Fort Worth, Texas to enter private practice.
Dr. Mehrotra is board-certified in both neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the public interest and the professions of psychiatry and neurology by: promoting excellence in practice through certification and maintenance of certification processes.
Dr. Mehrotra is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), whose mission is “to promote the highest quality patient-centered neurologic care and enhance member career satisfaction.”
