Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Sabrina Cardona, who serves patients in Tampa, Florida.

A top professional in the field of pediatrics, Dr. Cardona does not have her own practice but enjoys working with patients while substituting for private pediatric practices all over the Tampa bay area in Florida.   

Academically, she graduated with her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1995. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the Cooper University Hospital, formerly Robert Wood Johnson UMDNJ Medical School in 1998.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
