Dr. Ramanand Heeralall is a hospitalist practicing in St.Vincent Evansville, IN for  15 years. Dr. Heeralall specializes in Internal Medicine and treats patients eighteen years and older .He also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the  Indiana  University School of Medicine. Hospitalist  can act as a  primary physician or a consultant to a primary physician for patients with acute or decompensated chronic medical disease. This includes common, rare diseases critical and non-critical patients. Dr. Heeralall provides comprehensive care and manages treatment with all sub specialists as well and serves on multiple hospital committees to update and advance medical care to deliver the highest standard of medical care to the Evansville community. He is involved in mentoring and teaching medical residents as part of Indiana University Residency program. Hospitalist establish relationships with their patients and incorporate disease prevention and mental health care into their practice. He was elected physician of the year by his peers in 2015.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Heeralall earned his medical degree from the University of Guyana School of Medicine. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
