Dr. Kao is a rehabilitation and physical medicine specialist who is currently serving patients in New York. He is affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Queens, located in Flushing, New York. Dr. Kao received his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation at the NYU School of Medicine, followed by his fellowship training in spine & sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Kao was a part of the Resident/Fellow Council at the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) - an organization of faculty, researchers, and others interested in supporting the advancement of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) academics.
