A prominent otolaryngologist, Dr. Lorez is affiliated with the Alaska Center for Ear, Nose & Throat (ACENT), joining the team in Anchorage in 2015. His certification in the subspecialty of neurotology distinguishes him as a specialist in the intricate and vital realm of diagnosing and treating neurological disorders of the ear.

One of his notable contributions to the field includes his proficiency in cochlear implant surgery. Specializing in this advanced procedure, he extends his expertise to both children and adults experiencing deafness or severe hearing loss due to cochlear damage.

Graduating with his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame University, Dr. Lorenz went on to receive his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2005, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then went on to pursue further expertise by completing his residency in otolaryngology at the esteemed University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2010, before completing his fellowship in neurotology at the renowned House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles.

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, which is a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.

Pediatric otolaryngologists are primarily concerned with medical and surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat diseases in children.
