Get to know Family Physician Dr. Lucinda Fisher, who serves hospitalized patients in New Jersey.

Dr. Fisher is a trusted family physician with over two decades of experience in her field. She can be found on staff at Virtua Marlton Hospital & Virtua Memorial Hospital.

Virtua Marlton Hospital is a regional medical center in South Jersey that offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. It specializes in advanced surgical procedures, ranging from the common to the most complex, as well as cardiovascular diagnoses and treatments. A 1999 graduate of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College – Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Fisher went on to perform her residency in family medicine at West Jersey- Memorial Family Medicine Residency at Virtua. Dr. Fisher is married and has five children. She attended medical school after several years spent as a professional musician in Philadelphia.

A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, she is board-certified in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. 

Professionally, Dr. Fisher served on the Faculty of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, New Jersey from 2003 – 2013. She also served as the Associate Residency Director at Underwood Memorial Hospital from 2008 – 2013. She currently serves as an Adult Hospitalist at Virtua Marlton Hospital, since 2013. Her special areas of care include Geriatrics and Hospital medicine in addition to General Family Medicine.
