After earning his medical degree from St Joseph’s University Medical School, Dr. Mchayleh went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at George Washington University, followed by his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In 2016, he obtained his Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Management from Ohio University.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, he is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Hematology, and the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology. What’s more, he is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
In 2011, Dr. Mchayleh earned the Georgia Cancer Coalition Distinguished Cancer Clinician and Scientist Award, as well as multiple ASCO Merit awards. He also received specialized training in the treatment of leukemia at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
