Dr. Richard Fikes, DO, a highly experienced internal medicine hospitalist, practices at both Miami Valley Hospitalist Group in Dayton, Ohio, and Atrium Hospitalist Group in Middletown. With almost two decades of experience, he specializes in adult medicine, chronic disease management, complex patient care, and hospital medicine, offering his expertise to a wide range of medical facilities across multiple states.

Holding active medical licenses in Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia, Dr. Fikes is deeply committed to providing exceptional care to his patients. Dr. Fikes earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. Following his graduation, he completed his internship at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center in 2004. Dr. Fikes then pursued his residency in internal medicine at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in 2007, where he honed his clinical skills and deepened his expertise in managing complex medical cases.
