Educated in the United States, Dr. Ghannam obtained his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in family medicine at Cabarrus Family Medicine. During his medical training, he also completed a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Davenport University, and a Master of Health Services Administration degree (MHSA) from St. Joseph’s College of Maine.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

In his professional experience, he began his career as part of a private hospitalist group. There, he developed an interest in bridging the gap for local hospitals with physician staffing needs. He and his business partner, Dr. Jason Perlman, founded The Hospitalist Solution, which gave North Carolina hospitals a one-call solution for their short- to medium-term hospitalist staffing needs. While practicing as a hospitalist, he quickly realized there was a disconnect between his vision and the reality of the inpatient experience. As a result, he and his partners founded TeleHealth Solution.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services.
