Dr. Lynne Fenton, MD
Psychiatrist | Psychiatry
S Federal Blvd Denver CO, 80219About
Hello, I’m Lynne Fenton, an experienced MD psychiatrist with extensive experience treating the whole range of mental health issues, including medically complex cases. I treated patients and taught at the University of Colorado for nearly 20 years. Psychiatry is actually my second specialty. I went to Chicago Medical School and did my first residency at Northwestern University in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After many years of practice, and serving as Chief of Physical Medicine of the entire US Air Force, I became increasingly interested in psychiatry and returned for a second residency in that specialty at the University of Colorado. I remained on the faculty and was associate director of the psychiatry residency training program, in charge of the curriculum. About seven years ago I moved to a rural area of Colorado but continued to work for the University, seeing patients via telehealth. Now I have a private telepsychiatry practice and see patients aged 13 and up.Primarily, I see people for medication management, though I do have some folks I see for both therapy and medications. If you are interested in setting up an appointment or have some questions for me, you can call me at 970-823-4343.
Treatment philosophy:
In our first session, I will take the time to fully understand your unique situation before recommending any treatment. My goal is to clearly identify your challenges and collaborate with you on a plan that may include medication, therapy, or other helpful interventions. I’m here to answer all your questions and ensure you feel supported as we work together to improve your mental health.
