At Mt. Carmel Medical Center, Dr. Cox completed both an internship in general surgery and a residency program focused on the study of internal medicine. He followed these programs with two fellowships at the Wilford Hall Medical Center, where he specialized in allergy and immunology & diagnostic laboratory immunology.
A Diplomate of both the American Board of Allergy and Immunology & the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is a member of professional organizations including the American College of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the Travis County Medical Society.
