Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Gregory Pisarski, who serves patients in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Dr. Pisarski is a triple-board certified plastic surgeon offering many years of experience at Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery in Lake Jackson, Texas. However, what truly sets him apart from other plastic and cosmetic surgeons is his attention to his patients’ plastic surgery and skin care needs, such as breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, Botox®, and hair removal.

Graduating magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Texas Christian University, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery within the Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Hospitals.

Finally, he completed his fellowship in pediatric burn and critical care at Shriners Burn Institute, and his fellowship in cosmetic surgery under the tutelage of Drs. Baker, Gordon and Stuzin in Miami, Florida.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in plastic surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery through the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).  The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Pisarski is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Brazoria County Medical Society, and the Rotary International and Knights of Columbus.

His involvement in professional organizations allows him to broaden his knowledge by sharing information with some of the finest surgeons in the nation. It is very rewarding for him to learn new techniques that can change people’s lives.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories – reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. A plastic surgeon’s primary responsibility is performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.

On a more personal note, Dr. Pisarski has had the opportunity to travel to the Philippines, Mexico, and Nicaragua to treat patients with congenital deformities such as cleft lip and palate, an experience which has been very rewarding. One of his hobbies include off-road motorcycles.
