Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Juan Tejada, who serves patients in Marietta, Ohio.

Dr. Tejada is a practicing gastroenterologist whose areas of expertise include gastrointestinal disorders and interventional advanced endoscopy. He is affiliated with Marietta Memorial Hospital in Ohio.

After earning his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic in 2006, Dr. Tejada relocated to the United States to further his training. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center in 2011 and 2013, respectively. This was followed by an additional internship in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the same educational venue in 2014 and 2017, respectively. 

With a commitment to his field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

In his current capacity, Dr. Tejada is also affiliated with Selby General Hospital, Marietta Memorial Hospital Belpre Medical Campus Emergency Room, and Marietta Memorial Hospital Athens Department of Specialty Care.
