What is the best mouthwash to use for periodontal disease?
I like chlorhexidine gluconate 0.12 oral rinse, which is a prescription mouth wash. It can stain your teeth over long-term use though, so if you want a safe option that doesn't stain your teeth and improves bad breath, then Oracare is a great option. When choosing your OTC mouth wash, choose from the alcohol-free ones. READ MORE

Does Invisalign make your teeth yellow?
Teeth have a self-cleansing mechanism. Once they are in trays for a long period of time, they may get yellower, but that usually is not permanent. Brush more frequently (not hard brushing; scrubbing the teeth can damage them). Once you are done with your treatment, get an in-office whitening session or at-home teeth whitening kits. READ MORE

How quickly does a cavity progress?
Once the bacteria pass the enamel and get to the dentin, the process is faster (because dentin is not as dense as the enamel). It also depends how your oral hygiene (especially flossing) is. Diet plays a major factor too; the more processed carbohydrates and acidic foods you consume, the faster the cavities can progress. READ MORE

What is the best mouthwash for bad breath?
There are many reasons that one may have bad breath and you have to address the underlying cause. Bad breath could be a result of gum disease, poor oral hygiene, acid reflux, defective tooth restoration that allows for the accumulation of food particles, infection, nasal drip, smoking, underlying medical conditions, and dry mouth to name a few. To answer your question; I am pretty sure there are many products out there, but one mouthwash that I found it useful for bad breath is Oracare. READ MORE
How long are teeth sensitive after veneers?
it depends how much reduction was done for the preparation of the veneers. Dental veneers are supposed to be very thin layers, and in most cases, the preparation is finished in enamel, so shouldn't cause much sensitivity. Normally, the sensitivity post-cementation/bonding should subside in 2 weeks. READ MORE
