Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Lee S. Cohen, who serves patients in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Dr. Cohen is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon and one of the country’s leading physicians in the areas of injury prevention and athletic performance enhancement. He boasts a distinguished career spanning over 35 years, during which time he has provided expert care to more than 25,000 individuals of all ages, effectively alleviating their pain. 

In his current role at Dr. Lee S. Cohen & Associates, Dr. Cohen provides foot and ankle care for the entire family in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. He also serves as the Podiatric Consultant for Sports Medicine Management to physicians, having held this esteemed position for over 33 years with the NFL Philadelphia Eagles Football Team.

His expertise extends to a wide range of institutions, as he consults with the athletic training staff at notable universities such as Villanova University, Princeton University, West Chester University, Thomas Jefferson University, Temple University, Drexel University, Widener University, and LaSalle University, among others. He is also a valued member of the medical/surgical staff at the Crozer-Keystone Health System. 

His past accolades include serving as the Podiatric Consultant to the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, and Penn State University.

Scholastically, Dr. Cohen completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Temple University, and pursued his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. His postgraduate training includes a Podiatric Surgical Residency at Doctors Hospital, and a Second Year Podiatric Surgical Residency at Presbyterian University Hospital-Falk Clinic, under the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

His qualifications are further evidenced by certifications as a Diplomate of the National Board of Podiatric Medicine, being Board Certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and holding the distinction of a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

In addition to his remarkable credentials, Dr. Cohen has pursued additional education with a specialization in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Over the years, he has actively participated in various faculty appointments, such as the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association Surgical Seminars, Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, Podiatric Residency Director at Crozer Keystone Health System, and Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.

Notably, Dr. Cohen has been an advocate for sports medicine and podiatric health, serving as a consultant to numerous athletic training staffs, university teams, and sports equipment companies. His contributions extend to both the professional and academic realms, where he has shared his expertise as a visiting lecturer for various institutions and organizations.

In addition to his illustrious career, Dr. Cohen has ventured into the realm of invention, boasting patented foot insole products, including the CAPI Sport Insole and The Star Sports Insole.
