An epileptologist, Dr. Nadkarni serves as the Director of NYU Langone Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. His clinical interests include epilepsy, neuropsychiatry of epilepsy, forensic neuropsychiatry, as well as neuropsychiatry & behavioral neurology.

Specializing in treating challenging forms of epilepsy, the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is among the largest epilepsy treatment programs in the United States. The specialized doctors, nurse practitioners, clinical nurses, neuropsychologists, and electroencephalogram (EEG) technologists are dedicated to exploring the complexities of epilepsy and seizure disorders in adults and in children, and developing a comprehensive treatment plan that manages symptoms and improves quality of life.

A 1997 graduate of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Nadkarni went on to perform his internship in internal medicine, residency in neurology, and fellowship in neurophysiology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in neurology, psychiatry, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Holding an academic title, Dr. Nadkarni serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, and as Director of the Neurophysiology Fellowship Program.
