Can scoliosis pain be controlled?
Scoliosis may cause facet arthropathy as well as radicular pain. Treatment is tailored to patient’s condition. For back pain, ablation of facet joints may help. Pain radiating down the extremities may respond to epidural injections or spinal cord stimulation. Medical management of pain using anti inflammatory medicines or opioids may be tailored to patient’s need and response. What exercises to avoid with knee pain?
Running and jogging especially on hard surfaces. Biking, especially flexing your knee more than 90 degrees ( especially low bikes ). Squatting or any knee flexing more than 90 degrees. READ MORE

Tylenol and alcohol
Glutathione is how your liver detoxifies alcohol and Acetaminophen. It has a finite capacity. This can be less with age, other medicines, liver status, heart disease, other medicines...etc. I suggest 8 hours before and after and to limit Acetaminophen to 350 mg/dose, not to exceed 5 doses/ day. Can you help with knee pain?

What else can I try before needing surgery?
If there is progressive weakness of extremities, incontinence or instability of the spine, surgery may be the only answer. A full evaluation is needed. READ MORE
What can be done for a low pain tolerance?
Low pain tolerance may be related to high doses of opioids, especially short acting opioids like Percocet. Tapering down opioids may be the answer. READ MORE
What is the reason for my constant headaches?
Chronic neck arthritis, chronic neck disc problems, migraines, tension headaches, sleep deprivation, alcohol or Nicotine withdrawal as well as chronic short acting pain killers for headaches are to name a few. READ MORE
