He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of complex regional pain syndrome, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, sciatica, joint arthritis, back pain, motor vehicle accidents, whiplash, migraines, neck pain, neuropathy, spasticity, phantom limb pain, failed back surgery syndrome, among many other painful and debilitating conditions.
The doctor employs traditional treatments including injection therapy, along with advanced therapies including radio frequency ablation of sensory nerves, spinal cord, dorsal root ganglion and peripheral nerve stimulation, minimally-invasive disc procedures, regenerative medicine, Ketamine infusion therapy, Botox*, and intrathecal drug delivery.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Gesquiere began his training at Michigan State University. He then went on to complete his medical, surgical, anesthesia and interventional spine training at the Yale School of Medicine. Upon completion of his extensive training, research, and publications, he successfully completed three board certifications from the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Management, and the American Academy of Pain Management.
On a professional level, he is an active member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, the International Neuromodulation Society, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management, the Colorado Pain Society, and is Faculty Instructor for the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience.
