Get to know Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist Dr. Samantha M. Sublette, who serves patients in Naples, Florida.

Dr. Sublette is an outstanding clinical cardiac electrophysiologist at the NCH Rooney Heart Institute in Naples, Florida. She is also on the Credentialing Committee at NCH, bringing a wealth of knowledge and providing patients with unmatched cardiovascular care.

Having gone to Purdue University for her undergraduate studies, Dr. Sublette earned her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. She then went on to perform her residency at Emory University, followed by fellowships at the University of Louisville and the Krannert Institute of Cardiology at Indiana University.

With certifications and licenses in Kentucky, Indiana and Florida, Dr. Sublette is board-certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Before coming to Florida, Dr. Sublette sat on several committees in Indiana, and worked at Southern Indiana Heart and Vascular. 

On a professional level, she is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Medical Association.

Clinical cardiac electrophysiology is a branch of the medical specialty of cardiology that is concerned with the study and treatment of rhythm disorders of the heart. A clinical cardiac electrophysiologist, or cardiac EP, is a healthcare provider who treats heart rhythm problems. A cardiac EP is a type of cardiologist. 

Having given many presentations across Kentucky, Indiana and Florida, Dr. Sublette has focused on a variety of topics, including cardiac devices, cardiac rhythm monitoring, atrial fibrillation, and many more.
