Despite his prodigious artistic talents, Dr. Ghadishah knew he wanted to become a physician and help people. He attended UCLA for two undergraduate degrees: A Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from both programs with the distinguished magna cum laude.
Given the curriculum integrating both the rigors of medical training and healing the body as a holistic entity, Dr. Ghadishah elected to attend medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in California. After graduating with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2001, he went on to complete an internship at Lake Mead Hospital Medical Center, where he was awarded Intern of the Year. His residency was completed at Touro University Nevada.
A member of the American Osteopathic Association, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
