He works at Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group, seeing patients at the offices in Bohemia, Garden City, Lynbrook, and Merrick, New York.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in 1992. He then went on to serve his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1993 and 1997, respectively.
“I find it most rewarding to utilize my training and experience to help patients return to full, active lives and to teach aspiring doctors to do the same” expressed Dr. Shah.
Holding himself to a high level of excellence, he is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, he is a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Nassau County Medical Society.
