Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Peggy Brown Hutson, who serves patients in Miami, Florida. 

Dr. Hutson is a psychiatrist serving patients in Miami and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with her self-named, private practice. 

In 1961, Dr. Hutson received her Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She went on to complete a residency in psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital. 

In addition to her many milestones in her field, Dr. Hutson is board certified in psychiatry and neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists. 

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to diagnosing, preventing, and treating mental disorders. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Hutson diagnoses and treats mental illnesses. She may treat patients through a variety of methods including medications, psychotherapy or talk therapy, psychosocial interventions and more, depending on each individual case.
