Dr. Brahimaj is a neurological surgeon with expertise in the surgical management of complex brain, skull base, and pituitary tumors, as well as epilepsy and functional disorders of the brain and spine. He firmly believes in the philosophy of performing the right surgery for the right patient, which reflects his commitment to personalized care and optimal patient outcomes. Dr. Brahimaj’s exceptional training includes specialized fellowships that emphasize both minimally invasive “keyhole” techniques and advanced endoscopic endonasal and open skull base approaches. He is currently affiliated with Baylor Scott & White Neurosurgery and Spine Associates, seeing patients at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2015, Dr. Brahimaj completed his internship and residency in neurosurgery at Rush University Medical Center, where he honed his surgical skills and deepened his clinical knowledge. He further advanced his expertise by completing a Neurosurgical Oncology and Skull Base Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Brahimaj is not only a skilled surgeon but also a dedicated researcher. His work has been published in leading neurosurgical journals, and he has presented his findings at numerous national conferences, contributing to the advancement of the field. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored with the prestigious 2019 AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumor and Skull Base Surgery Award, highlighting his commitment to excellence in neurosurgery.
