Get to know Dentist Dr. Vito F. Foto, who serves patients in Bronxville, New York.

A competent dentist, Dr. Foto has been operating Pondfield Dental since 1988, moving to his current location in Bronxville, New York in 2003. He works alongside Dr. Francis A. Turturro, who joined the dental practice in 2009.

Pondfield Dental recognizes that each patient’s dental needs are unique. Both Dr. Foto and Dr. Turturro strive to provide gentle, personalized and comprehensive dental and oral health care in a relaxed environment. They take pride in working hard to accommodate each patient, making sure their teeth stay healthy, function well, and look great.

Academically, Dr. Foto graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the NYU College of Dentistry in 1987. He then went on to complete his postgraduate training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, before going into private practice in 1988.

On a professional level, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York Dental Association, and the Eastchester Rotary Club. He is a past member of The Yonkers Dental Society.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
