Born in San Francisco, California and raised in the suburbs of Daly City, Dr. Lin graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and earned his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/The Chicago Medical School. He then moved on to complete his surgical residency training at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in bariatric surgery at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
