Please try to get a stand-up desk and keep an alarm to make you get up and move at least every 55 min. Hi, If you still have same amount of swelling, please elevate your leg while sitting and ice your ankle multiple times a day and each time or at least 20 min. Why do I have a pain in my knee every time i bend it?
Pain in the knees especially in runners, is common. Reasons may be due to running on uneven surfaces, inadequate stretching after the run, and a decrease in quad strength. In 2017, Dr. Kavaserry earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College.
Dr. Kavaserry has over 17 years of clinical experience. He began his career as a practicing physical therapist in a skilled nursing facility, treating a wide variety of conditions and successfully getting his patients back to their active lifestyle. Over the years, he has gained expertise working across segments like outpatient, SNF, and home care. He has also gained expertise in manual therapy, using a combination of different techniques to relieve pain.
Dr. Kavaserry’s passion for pain relief led him to pursue certifications in various techniques and to combine those techniques in an attempt to effectively treat his patients. He also lectures on different physical therapy related topics such as body mechanics.
Dr. Kavaserry is an active member of the Virginia Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
