She then relocated to the United States where she performed her internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. This was followed by a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Passionate about her profession, she is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, Dr. Mols-Kowalczewski is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the American Diabetes Association.
Certified in ultrasound of the thyroid gland by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, she also holds CLIA Laboratory certification.
