Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, followed by his fellowship in neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He opened his practice in Amarillo in 1997.
The doctor is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, which is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
