Throughout her academic career, Dr. Staii graduated with her medical degree from the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara in Romania in 1998. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in internal medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital, followed by her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at UW Health University Hospital in 2007.
