A caring pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Haider is affiliated with Riley Pediatric Ophthalmology, seeing patients at their offices in Indianapolis and Carmel, Indiana.
Academically, she completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Wisconsin after applying for early acceptance while in high school. She then completed her residency in ophthalmology at Saint Louis University, and her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Indiana University.
An authority in her field, the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Haider is active with her national organization, American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, where she is Chair of the Membership Committee as well as serving on the Selection Committee and Ocular Genetics Committee. Her research interests include retinopathy of prematurity, amblyopia, cataracts, glaucoma, and ocular genetics.
In 2010, she became the Director of the Retinopathy of Prematurity Service, and currently serves as Co-Director with Dr. Charline Boente. In 2019, she championed the first Ocular Genetics/Inheritable Eye Disease Clinic in the state.
