Get to know Internist Dr. Jasper I. Ngomba, who serves patients in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

A board-certified internist, Dr. Ngomba is the Founder, President & CEO of TELLinMedicine, LLC in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

“Our goal is to take access to health care and health education beyond policy and beyond borders. That’s why we offer physician home visits and world telemedicine. Being able to have a relationship with a primary care physician and access to preventive medicine regardless of your mobility or geographic location, means you can spend more time preventing illness rather than treating an illness after it occurs. After all, prevention is the best medicine” as stated on the practice’s website.

With a philosophy of care “Access to Health is Access to Wealth”, Dr. Ngomba wants patients to take ownership of their health, which is why he aims to empower them with education and knowledge about lifestyle changes that can make a real difference in their health, well-being, and longevity. He is also a hospitalist physician with New England Inpatient Specialists at Lowell General Hospital.

Beginning his career in healthcare as a nurse, Dr. Ngomba completed his undergraduate nursing degree in 1995 and pre med studies at the University of Massachusetts in Boston in 1997. He then continued his medical education at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, earning his medical degree in 2005.

Prior to starting his residency at Berkshire Medical Center, Dr. Ngomba worked as a critical care travel nurse for several years at various hospitals throughout Massachusetts and one year in Ontario, Canada where he was exposed to flight nursing and TeleMedicine.

For two years, he practiced as an internist in a group practice in Newport, Rhode Island. After seeing a need for a more cost effective healthcare delivery model, including home-based care and telemedicine, Dr. Ngomba relocated to the Massachusetts area where he founded TellinMedicine, LLC in 2012.

Board-certified in internal medicine, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

On a more personal note, Dr. Ngomba speaks English and Yoruba.
