Dr. Gandelman, a board-certified cardiologist, specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He is the Medical Director of Medical Associates of Wall Street in New York City & Greenwich Cardiology Associates in Greenwich, CT.

Medical Associates of Wall Street is a full-service corporate wellness and personal health clinic located in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District. One of the first industrial clinics in New York City, it has been a leader in healthcare since 1969, proud to serve some of New York’s finest institutions and busy professionals.

The staff at Greenwich Cardiology Associates has been serving the greater New York / Connecticut area for over 30 years. The practice has been credentialed by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in echocardiography, vascular testing, and nuclear imaging. 

Serving as a medical instructor at multiple hospitals, Dr. Gandelman strives to give back to the medical community and help train medical students. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College, and as a Clinical Instructor at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Locally, he is affiliated with Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, and Stamford Hospital.

A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Gandelman went on to perform his training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center (residency in internal medicine) and Westchester Medical Center (fellowship in cardiology).

In addition to his medical degree, he earned a Master of Public Health degree, specializing in healthcare management and community health initiatives. 

Maintaining the highest level certifications in the field of cardiology, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, and in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. 

An Accredited Member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Gandelman is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiology, and a Fellow of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
