Arrowhead Neurosurgical Medical Group, Inc. strives to provide exceptional neurosurgical care. Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Tayag obtained his medical degree from the University of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in the Philippines, and completed his surgical internship at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital in New York. He completed his residency in Neurology at The Los Angeles County University of Southern California Medical Center, and his residency in Neurosurgery at Tulane University, and he completed a Neuro Rehabiliation Fellowship. Later, he completed his fellowship in Neurointerventional Surgery at Desert Regional Medical Center.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, whose broad aim is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards, and advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serve the cause of public health.
Moreover, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
On a professional level, Dr. Tayag is a proud member of the American Association of Neurological Surgery, and the Congress of Neurological Surgery.
