With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Ylisastigui and his devoted team, including two nurse practitioners personally trained by him, have become a cornerstone of quality primary care in the Lehigh Acres, Florida community.

As an internist, Dr. Ylisastigui specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. His practice places a strong emphasis on addressing common health issues, such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol levels. Bringing a wealth of knowledge to his practice, Dr. Ylisastigui holds a Medical Degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba, and advanced clinical pharmacology training from both the Institute and the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He has a remarkable 25-year track record in clinical research, including extensive experience as a Principal Investigator for phase I to IV studies. His internal medicine residency training was completed at the University of North Dakota in Fargo.
