Dr. Bita Yadidi is passionate about health and wellness and discovered the path of alternative medicine when her daughters, age 2 & 5 were both challenged with a health crisis. After trying conventional medicine, she soon realized the approach the drs were taking were not addressing the root cause. Her daughters skin rash returned once she stopped the ointments and her other daughters coughs, colds and asthma were getting worse. Nothing was really helping. That is when she discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture and with the help of Eastern Medicine, Acupuncture and Nutritional guidance, her daughters skin completely cleared up within a few months and her other daughter was no longer suffering from recurrent colds, coughs and asthma attacks. 12 years later, they are both healthy and thriving with no skin outbreaks nor asthma attacks!

This is when Dr. Bita Yadidi (Dr. B), decided to commit to this path to be able to share her experience and knowldedge with the world.  She received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2013 from Yo San Univeristy and she continued her studies, receiving her Doctorate in Oriental Medicine specializing  Healthy Aging and Longevity in 2016.  Dr. Bita Yadidi truly believes, has witnesssed and experienced it first hand, that with understanding the person as a whole- body, mind & spirit and approaching health through the lens of wholeness, one can truly overcome all health challenges.  She is passionate about prevention of disease and does not believe in a magic pill. It is through understanding the body, the psyche, the emotions and the spriti one can truly begin to assist bringing their body and spirit back to balance and slowly returning to greath health and prevention of dis-ease. True health and wellness is a lifestyle not a temporarily apprpach and here at Wellness To Be, we listen, hear & address our patients health concerns carefuly and patiently and we educate, treat, guide and offer them tools on getting to the root cause and not just addressing the symptoms.

  • How often should I go for acupuncture?

Sorry to hear about your chronic back pain. For acupuncture to be most effective and see results, usually for acute conditions we recommend 2-3 times per week for a few weeks and then we taper to 1x/week. For chronic conditions it is a bit more complicated, but 1x/month is definitely not enough. Each individual and situation is different and will take a longer time to see results. At least once a week is recommended for a few months and once you begin to experience relief, then we can move it down. So for chronic conditions, at the beginning one may need to go in 1-2x/week for the first few months and once they begin to see results, treatments can be tapered down. Hope this helps! • When should I get acupuncture treatment for fertility?

The best time to consult with an acupuncturist who specializes is infertility is right away. The sooner you and your husband begin the sessions, the better the chances of conception. I would recommend both of you be seen for the consult and first treatment. Best of luck on your journey! Dr. Bita Yadidi L.Ac., DAOM READ MORE

What do you attribute your success to?

  • When her daughter needed medical attention at age 5, western medicine was not properly helping. Although reluctant, she gave eastern medicine a try. Her daughter and son were both cured of their asthma from the likes of eastern medicine. She felt she needed to share this with the world. It was from there she decided to pursue eastern medicine herself. She attended the same University the doctor who treated her children had attended. She then opened her practice in 2016 to serve as an East meets West practice treating mind, body, and spirit.
