After graduation, he earned his medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. He completed his residency and a subsequent fellowship in cardiovascular disease at North Shore University-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens. Following this, he completed another fellowship in interventional cardiology at the same educational venue.
His extensive training in various aspects of interventional cardiology has prepared Dr. Dhama to treat a wide range of cardiovascular issues, and he is proactive about remaining on top of new developments in cardiology in the field.
A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
